Wednesday, November 04, 2015 -
earthquakeA 6.3 magnitude earthquake shook eastern Indonesia. There were reports of minor property damage but no causalities have been recorded so far.

According to the US Geological Survey, the impact of the quake was not felt to that extent as its epicentre was at a depth of 14km kilometres (8.5 miles) under the Alor Sea which is roughly 77km from the East Timorese capital of Dili.

However since it was a powerful quake at least one building collapsed. No news has been received from remote areas as there is no telephonic connectivity therefore the extent of damage in the remote areas is not known yet.
